Sunday School
Our WPC Littles (0-4 years old) meet in the Nursery at 9:45 am each Sunday morning for Bible stories, songs, and lots of playtime with Mr. Arya. The Littles' room stays open during worship, although we encourage all children three years old and up to join us in the sanctuary!
Our WPC Kids (K-5th graders) meet in the Education Wing at 9:45 am each Sunday morning for Bible stories, music, and games galore! This class will study Spark: Activate Faith with Mrs. Bonnie Garcia.
Our WPC Junior High (6th-8th graders) meet in the Youth Room at 9:45 am each Sunday morning to grow in their faith by learning what it means to be a Presbyterian. This class will explore the meaning of their baptism and participation at the Lord's supper, stewardship, spiritual practices, and more! This class is led by Daniel Garcia & Daniel West.
Our WPC Senior High (9th-12th graders) meet in the Zoo Room (new location) at 9:45 am each Sunday morning. This year the class will study Can I Ask That?, a book from the Sticky Faith curriculum. Taking their faith journey together, the youth will get to talk through tough questions regarding God, the Bible, and Christianity.
After Worship
Our WPC Youth (7th-12th graders) can attend Youth Group after church every Sunday! Join Co-Directors Makayla & David Buckley to grow the bond of the group through faith formation. A new addition to WPC's faith formation, meeting weekly will strengthen the bond of our youth, while also giving ample time to explore all the facets of being a Christian in this age. The Buckleys plan for the youth to give back to the community that has raised them, both at the church and in the city of Arlington. Our WPC Kids & Littles (0 years old-6th grade) will have many engaging and developmental events throughout the year. Vacation Bible School meets each summer for one week, giving children the opportunity to learn about Biblical places, people and events through stories, crafts, music, science experiments, and games. We also usually have an adult Bible study simultaneously!
We value the continued safety of our children and youth, as well as the gracious adults who work with them. All of our adult volunteers undergo a background check and annual training, as part of our Child Protection Policy.
